I love finding places just like these. Quaint little humble places to eat, bonus if the food is delicious, bonus if the staff is friendly and inviting.I'm happy to report that this place is excellent.My daughter ordered a bowl of cream of mushroom, my wife ordered a mushroom cheeseburger with a side of cream of mushroom, and I ordered the clubhouse and fries.Let me just say, the cream of mushroom was superb, and I can't stand cream of mushroom soup normally.The clubhouse was warm, soft, and delicious top to bottom and the fries were perfectThe burger was as well scrumptious and steaming hot (on a summer day!)Food this good normally comes with a wait time, but no, we waited perhaps 5 minutes before food started arriving, and maybe 15 minutes total for everything to have arrived.The staff is so friendly. The waitress and front woman was smiling the entire time and with every question I asked. She genuinely made me feel like she appreciated that we were guests at her restaurant.During our stay we noticed people coming in and out, but it was never too crowded or cramped. Lending itself to a comfortable stay where I didn't feel rushed. We also noticed plenty of what we assume are regulars popping in and out, and the staff remembering their regular orders at a moments notice. Now that's service.We enjoyed our stay so much we ordered a born of Wonton Soup just to extend it a little bit longer. And you know what? They were frickin delicious as well.I'd say it's pretty easy to recommend this place. It's easy to miss as you drive along Hastings avoiding the traffic, and if your expecting high class and fancy tables and seating you may be disappointed. This isn't a romantic dinner location. This place is awesome.. delicious chicken burger with well done , clean fries for only 10. Portion was big. There was a balance of flavors in the chicken patty . Fries tasted well and were fresh. I'll definitely return. The food is hygenic

The staff was friendly and the place had good food for a reasonable price.This place was near to where I was staying and looked very unassuming. I was not expecting a lot based on the look, but it was the perfect chill environment with a large serving of good food for breakfast and the staff was friendly with a large batch of regulars which tells me it is like this every day.If you like good diner food and a low key environment I can't recommend this place enough. I will be back for sure!

I've gone here regularly for over 10 years and there's a reason. It's the best Canadian/Chinese restraunt in quality and in prices!! Thank you S2

I went there for the first time today and I fell in love. Great food. Great service. Ladies are really friendly! Moreover, the price was sooo reasonable. I’ll be back every time I’m around the area.
